The short broach consists of 16 splines, or teeth. The total length of of the handles measure right at 2 1/2 inches, and the outer diameter at the base of the handles measure about 2 inches. The index buttons have 5 tabs, or clips that help secure it to the handle. The index buttons have the inner diameter of about 7/8ths of an inch, and the outer diameter of approximately 1 inch.
